Gumet GmbH was founded in Norderstedt, near Hamburg, in 1988, and has been run by the second generation since 2011. Over the years, the numbers of employees has tripled while the demand for storage space has steadily risen. 

The move to Henstedt-Ulzburg in 2005 led to optimised logictics processes as well as space for further expansion in the future.
